Our school has almost 385 children divided over 16 groups. This means that there are approximately 23 children in each group. We have two groups in grades 3 to 8 and 4 toddler groups.

Within thematic working, children learn future-oriented skills such as: “Planning, communicating, collaborating, creating, reflecting, presenting, collaborating, accounting, entrepreneurship and ICT skills.

What do children say about our school?

At Kindcentrum Antonius, lovely teachers work and we feel comfortable with them. If someone doesn't feel good, he/she doesn't even have to say so. The teacher just sees that! The teacher helps us, even if someone finds something difficult or can do something very well. Sometimes you will be given more difficult assignments and other times you will receive extra help, attention or easier assignments. We often use the laptop, but we also often work in our notebook. We can work together and work alone. When we work together we will consult with each other; Overwriting is not the intention. Every day the program of the day is written on the board, so that we know what will happen that day, but we also have our own input into the daily program or lesson. It is simply great to be at Child Center Antonius, because we can work and learn really well here.

What do parents say about our school?

At Kindcentrum Antonius my child, but also we as parents, are seen and heard. As parents and school, we do the right things for our children together. We have the same goal. There are very nice teachers who respond quickly to questions I have. The school offers a lot of clarity and structure to my children, is open to other opinions and actively receives them. It is nice that the school has such a good offer in both 'normal subjects' and 'thematic work', from which my children learn a lot. Every child receives the guidance he/she needs. Sometimes that means extra help, explanation, time or a 'buddy', for the more gifted children there is the Adventurers Group. The extracurricular activities are really great, you won't find them anywhere.

Our core values are; possibility to rest, attention, being together, positiveness and trust give direction and focus to our education and to our school culture. They are the guiding principles for behavior, processing and interactions within our school.

Partou Childcare is the core partner of our school. This means that we share the care of children, have a shared vision and intensive cooperation. Partou toddler care (POV), Partou's before- and after-school care, all have a place in our school at Vlinderhei.
